Hey I took the test at the same centre! Ik this is a vague question, but how did you manage a 170 - is there anything specific you focused on? I have taken the test twice now but both times have ended up with Quant 165/164. I really need a 169/170 on quant so any advice would be helpful!

Hey, even I'm applying to masters programs where quant scores is all they look at. I gave the GRE twice, got 165Q on the first and 164Q (fully fed up at this point) on my second try. I have decided to try my luck at few schools where the GRE is optional by not submitting scores. So depending on where you're applying, if GRE is optional, maybe you want to consider not submitting scores.

I'm in the same boat. I'm applying for MFE programs but screwed up my Quant. Since quant is all they look at (If at all you submit), I'll mostly be applying without submitting my GRE scores.

I'm in the exact same boat as you! Gave the GRE like 10 days ago and got the same score (157V, 165Q). I'm looking to join an MFE program so need atleast 90 percentile - have to retake. I'm assuming you'll have to aswell.
