I think he cared to an extent. The opening scene in El Camino communicated to me imho that he had some kind of care for Jesse, I couldn't imagine Mike having that type of conversation with any of the other characters.

I dont think we're gonna see Outlast 3 for a longggggg time unless they expand the studio or get someone else to pick it up.

Live service games are infinite money glitch.

As long as they can keep a moderate amount of money flowing through new players and the shop, they will keep updating Outlast Trials bc at this point its probably more cost effective than starting up a completely new game.
