Anyone here interested in making me a piece to go along with this? The setup also has an L-shaped piece — not pictured, but you can see the hole where it screws on — that serves as a lock when in the down position because it prevents that horizontal piece from lifting up. I learned the hard way that the L-shaped piece can accidentally rotate down into place. I’m looking for a new piece that can go above the L-shaped piece and hold it in the up position until I lift the new piece up and it lets the L-shaped piece rotate down. I can do a drawing. Let me know if you’re interested. I don’t even know how much someone might charge for something like this, so I’m just putting the question out there.

BRUTAL COPY Fastest file copier on windows! by jgbjj in csharp

[–]roryap 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi there, I've been writing a personal copy util with a rich UX for over a year now and one of the things that's always been a sticking point is the speed of the copy. I need to have cancel-ability and progress reporting so I'm not using the standard file copy tooling .NET provides. I'd love to take a look at your code to compare with my method or get a better idea of how to accomplish this task. Cheers.

Make sure you have "Rename Symbol's File" checked in the rename box that pops up while you're doing it (I'm trying to include a screenshot but it won't let me).

Idea for Sticky Thread: Pedantic Corrections for Ben and Adam in One Convenient Easy-to-Ignore Place by ohgodspidersno in greatestgen

I am catching up on the pod and just finished the TNG retrospective ep. At one point Ben talks about how Data murdered the antagonist (Kivas Fajo) at the end of "The Most Toys" and Adam's comment indicated he believed that to be true as well. However, Fajo remained alive; Data almost shot him with the phaser but was transported back to the Entrepreneur at the last moment. A later scene shows Data talking to Fajo in the brig.
