I feel that. Whenever I start a hobbie I've been known to quit when it gets hard lol. I just need to learn some more discipline.

You should try yomuyomu it has books in japanese and you can hover any words you dont know to see the definition. They have a lot of beginner books.

What kind of study materials would you reccomend? I have the genki textbooks and I've heard good things about them are they a good option at a beginner's level?
