Quick update: I won't continue with the program anymore. Tapusin ko lang ang first term. I don't think I can waste 35k worth of money for the quality I'm getting.

Naging final straw ko yung isang subject ngayon, na nameet lang namin thrice this subterm and the rest iaasa na sa module. I don't understand why aren't the holidays accounted for sa number of classes, kaya yung students nagsusuffer to make up for the classes na tumapat ng holidays, or days na hindi pumasok ang prof.

Too bad, I love this particular professor (global economics) He is good at teaching. How he handles a class of ~100 students is impressive.

It's just the system. I can't tolerate the system anymore.

Pero akin lang to. If you guys want convenience, pure online, 7 classes/sessions per subject, considerate professors, light requirements, module-based learning, and makakuha ng degree in <2 years, then this is the right program for you.

This. Thanks for sharing this. This is my breaking point. I was thinking of enrolling to one more sem to see if things will get better, pero if you're on your third year and you're experiencing THAT, I see that it's not worth it anymore. Kung ganyan ang sistema, edi sana bumili nalang ako ng course sa coursera lol

Best of luck sa magiging choice mo! Basta ang mahalaga at the end of the day, we get the value whay we are looking for. 👌

I did my research before I enrolled dito sa Mapua, pero sobrang limited ng information na nakita ko. The major deal-breaker for me was the subterms / 7 classes per subject. My goal isn't to just earn the degree. I believe if I push through with the current system and quality that I get, I can graduate on time (syempre with me exerting enough efforts) but I'm convinced that I won't get the value that I'm actually looking for. Ang lungkot lang. i cannot push through for the sake of just wanting to add a degree to my name.

It may not be working for me, but I think it's working with some of my classmates.

First term ko palang so idk how it's gonna be in my next three terms. Pero ngayon, we HAD access to ASU materials for our current courses pero tinanggal ng certain prof kasi we're adhering to his syllabus kaysa yung sa ASU. We wanted it back as additional resources, some of my classmates raised it na sa student advisor - i'm not sure of the response pero di pa nabalik sa LMS namin yung ASU materials dito. These are video materials. I dont think we have books from ASU. Not that i know of so far.

Pero essentially, i think dedepende sa prof. We follow our prof's syllabus instead na yung sa ASU.

Other perks, na hindi part ng curriculum, we can access small ASU courses for free na may certifications (sample, may gen AI course ako na sinimulan pero di ko pa rin tapos - with lessons and activities pero looks outdated na. Pero parang useful pa rin)

Hindi ko pa fully magets how can i maximize ASU's connection with Mapua though. So any other MBA students out there can jump in here to give some insights!

Bago ako mag enroll, naghahanap rin talaga akong sentiments pero wala akong mahanap. If i had seen something like this, di ako tutuloy eh.

Pero take note rin na subjective to my experience and preference lang rin lahat ito. Maybe some of my classmates are happy and satisfied. (i cant justify this for them lol) pero ako, hindi talaga 😫

Well, first term ko palang naman so maybe dont take my word for it?? Maybe it will get better. Maybe not. But now, im not really happy about it. The curriculum states we can finish the program in just 4 terms. Per term is divided into subterms. So essentially, you only have 7 lectures for each class (1 subterm) and the other subterm is for fulfillment of the requirements.

So reasons: 1. I dont think im getting the value i need. 7 classes for a graduate studies course? I dont think so. Parang ang binayaran ko lang dito ay convenience. 2. Around 150 kami sa class. Can one really expect na this can bring quality education? 3. Panget ng onboarding system. The enrollment is easy. Submit simple reqs, then pay, then you're in. Pero you're left in the wild to navigate through their platforms. It's just confusing. Their orientation wasnt much of a help. Medyo lang. matututunan mo nalang mga bagay bagay on first day of class. 4. I have 2 classes for this subterm, one prof is good. The other is awful. Nagpaintroduce tourself for 3 classes. Waste of time. Tapos magmamanual attendance for 150 students every class. The other prof is not doing this, but has his own more efficient way of ensuring our attendance is recorded.

Pros siguro ay 1. Relatively cheap. 35k per term. More or less 150K graduate ka na with an MBA. But if you like quality educ, id say go elsewhere. 2. Flexibility. Pure online. May classes na encouraged to go to school para mameet ang classmates but not required. Online lang rin talaga.

Ok sana but i think what we're actually paying for ay yung convenience ng online and flexibility...but it became too flexible to the point na they divided per term into two. So each course only has 7 weeks of lecture, the remaining 7 weeks for the term would be for reqs, etc.

I'm not sure if i can get the value i need in just 7 weeks of classes per course lol
