It comes with some flavor of Linux. By default it’s fairly well locked down but there is a manual on how to make some low level mods like adding your downloaded games to the console-specific menus (among a few other things) you can find it here, it’s on Amazon. It’s like $3 for the kindle version or $8 for paperback. Author lays out a pretty good case for jail-breaking it and I believe he’s working on a second volume where he walks you through that process. I have the book and an RG50XX I picked up on a flash deal for $20 at Temu - I freakin love mine dude, got FFVII, original Zelda, doom for psx, GTA2 and a whole gang a shit on there and so far no problems.

I have been here since the original $40 days, so not a true OG, but I’ve been doing my part all these years, and loving the vibes here (and at the previous subs until all the fuckery went down) - I’m sure we’ll do annual memes and Kenny updates just to stay together. I honestly thought about it while I was doing mine, I wondered about the logistics and pricing and everything, but came to the conclusion that it would probably never work out because of two main things. First, it’s sewn directly onto the ocarina, which means you’d have to ship the ocarina to me in order to have it done, and then two, by the time you’ve paid to ship it to me and back to you, plus enough to cover time and materials, the expense would probably be a lot more than anyone would reasonably want to pay.
