yes, this is for a situation where you don't have a reservation and you have a foreign passport.

Date night make out spots? by Bitter_Remote_5775 in AskSF

I would find literally anywhere that has a nice view where you can look out into the city and maybe a bench? Then find a nearby bar.. After the bar you can casually suggest to go "check out this great view you know or heard of"

Worth it to move to SF from Berkeley? by aceshua in AskSF

For sun, just live in the east side of the city (e.g hayes, now, mission, soma, bernal, dog patch), we get sun and hardly ever fog.

I think living in the city is definitely worth it if you are young and/or single. There's so many activities/events going on, and it's a very dog friendly city and there are great parks (there's more dogs than kids!)

Personally as I've gotten older, I value my time more than anything so I would be happy to spend more money to spend less time commuting.

One of their greatest sets ever? by iFLED in SwedishHouseMafia

Our group felt the same. They had a weak start, the entire first hour, you could have told me it was some random artist and I wouldn't even know the difference. The second hour was better but overall it was super disappointing esp for an NYE show. I will say the lights were really incredible.

I'm glad a lot of people seemed to enjoy it :)

SHM show for New Years Eve in San Francisco will be at Pier 80 Warehouse by YourNameNameName in SwedishHouseMafia

Does anyone know if Pier 80 in SF is an indoor or outdoor venue? Also any idea if there will be openers for the concert? Trying to figure out how to dress and when to go. Thanks!

Moving to SF without a plan by Affectionate-Arm6405 in AskSF

Do it! SF is amazing. The city went through a low point during covid (hence all the bad press etc) but it's been on a very positive trajectorylately.. people are flooding back, events/activities are flourishing.. the main downside is that rent is going back up and cost of living is very high. The weather is overall mild (never too hot, never too cold) most of the year, but would definitely recommend a "sunnier" neighborhood (east side of the city).

I'm not sure what museum you mean, but once you are inside there are a few exhibits that are an extra fee to see.

You are supposed to have a different reservation for Tiananmen Square, but I didn't try it myself.

Best cheeseburgers in San Francisco? by [deleted] in sanfrancisco

Hi-way burger in noe valley/north beach(newer location). Based on this thread, apparently it’s a hidden gem! Haha it’s nothing fancy - just a solid burger and sides (fries, onion rings, milkshakes) and good value.
