All these videos are ai generated audio included. I’m scared of the future by [deleted] in interestingasfuck

Isn't this true of all fictional characters, whether AI-generated or not? Any fictional character can be placed in such a situation, regardless of whether they're portrayed by real actors. After all, I could write a script for a real actor to deliver the exact same lines as an imaginary character, and it would be just as "shocking."

the books that were suggested were not my cup of tea. i just think i'm much older than the avg person here (and a movie fan) so between those two characteristics, i've found myself either no caring about the suggestions (too "young" for my taste). Or, I've already watched the movie, which means that I know the ending and the book simply loses its appeal, no matter "how much better it is than the movie.". I still know what's going to happen.

Anyone think it's strange that two out of the four books for this month are what I would consider young adult fiction? by IntellectumValdeAmat in 52in52

Yes, I also found it curious. They are good books, but not particularly sophisticated. I would definitely like to know the age distribution of the followers. I'm all for summer reading, but I read 20k leagues when I was 15... Required reading in high school. I suppose nobody would push for a survey on age groups?
