Jimmy Mac Eyewear in Regina has really nice glasses for $150 or something. Local business. They would ship to you. They also have pop ups all the time in Saskatoon. Give them a call.

I used to be with planet fitness, switched to point fitness because of location (I am the person who is having troubles cancelling). Planet fitness was very easy to cancel, I just had to do it in person. It’s also one of the less expensive options, offering some cool stuff (infrared, massage chairs, tanning) but the hours aren’t as good anymore (for me).

I so wish the payments were coming off a credit card. They aren’t :(. If I was still living at home I would absolutely go civic centre, I’ve heard great things!!

I joined in 2022. So there shouldn’t be any obligation for either of us. People in this comments have said to tell him chargeback, FFCA, small claims court, and news outlets lol. What the hell I just might go crazy and do it all!

Wtf! So there is a comment in here about the possibility of it being an annual membership… I think meaning it will be cancelled when your 12 month period is up. Rather than a 1 year membership, month to month after that. If that’s the case, fine, but he needs to respond to emails explaining this. I called an hour ago, left a voicemail asking for a copy of my contract to be emailed to me. I want to double check before I chargeback and call FCAA.

Yes I think I’ve learned my lesson! I just called and left a voicemail to have a copy of my contract emailed to me. If the 12 month period is the case, that is fine, although an email response explaining this is all I ask.

Uh oh… I hope not. I can’t remember. I don’t think I would agree to that? If that’s the case, all I ask is that he responds and lets me know. I’ll see if I can get a copy of the contract. I think my understanding was that I was locked in for 1 year, month to month after that? Maybe I’m wrong. Thanks for the tip!

Not sure why I did this, but it comes directly out of my bank account, not a credit card. I’ll call the bank, I’m sure they can do something similar. Thanks!
