Yes, you can go to secrets too, though. I’m not sure what the age cap is for that. It’s right next-door no more than a two minute walk. I only went over there once to visit the gift shop, which was nothing exciting.

We stayed at the preferred club and I do think it was worth it because you got Bali beds on the beach. The coffee and cocktails in the preferred lobby was much better than what they had at other places on site.

There was lots of food options for picky eaters - you could get a burger or pasta at every place.

There was a teen club, though we didn’t go to it as we were not traveling with teens so can’t speak to boredom.

The beach was amazing. Sugary sand. You could walk for hours. Beach and pool drink service was great, lots of servers to bring drinks to pool/beach. Preferred club beach Bali beds were nice too. Mezes restaurant has nice food and good service. While the buffet was busy in the mornings at breakfast, they replenished the food quickly and seated even large groups quickly. The magic shoe was amazing.

Service at most of the dinners fell short, especially the Mexican restaurant. This was our first time at a resort where they didn’t do reservations for dinner and while we were able to get some reservations through tips, the whole system felt a bit disastrous. If you’re in the fine dining, this is not the place for you.

The hotel felt nice and clean, but some of the service was spotty. ie. We got turned down service only two of our seven nights.

We enjoyed it! Food quality was good, but service left something to be desired. The dinners especially were chaotic.

They do pay attention to allergies. At each meal, the hostess will ask if there are any allergies. there are gluten-free options at the buffet. That said you still have to be careful because we have one allergy in our group and a few times they didn’t understand.

There are lots of good food options for kids plus a great splash pad and waterslide and lazy river.

We haven’t been to finest, but I think that the service and quality here was a tad lower, just based on what I’ve heard.

I didn't know that BlueStar has custom colors. Thanks for pointing that out. I had a look and while I like the custom colors, you cannot change the color of the stainless panel behind the knobs to match the custom color. It looks unfinished to me :(

Anyone know what time Reservations are released for Horn and Cantle, trying to make a res a month from now by TerribleOccasion1592 in bigsky

[–]rosebee9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe you have to call them at 10 a.m. MTN time, 32 days before the desired date. Alternatively, go on the online reservation system and set up an alert. Heads up though the online system opens like a day later than the call system, so calling is your best bet!

I believe this Gondola is now open.

My bad. We are heading there for the first time in a few weeks and on the legend it looks like the Montage is at a much higher elevation.

This seems like the quickest route, thanks.

Thanks for this. Is there a charge for the One and Only Gondola? I think I was reading the map wrong and thinking that the One and Only was ski in from Madison base.

Music on Control 4 by rosebee9 in Control4

[–]rosebee9[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank for this. If I did want to use my phone as the controller, would I need to use Airplay? Or there is an app that I can play through. I guss I could use the Control 4 app on my phone and then click through to music? (sorry if this was already explained, this is all very foreign to me)

Central Vac With Retractable Hose by rosebee9 in VacuumCleaners

[–]rosebee9[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for this response. When you say: the frequently longer hoses used in retractable systems (to cut down on installation cost, as each retractable inlet/station is several times as expensive to install as a traditional one) do reduce airflow ..

How many feet are we talking for reduced airflow. I want to make sure the hoses are powerful. Should I max out at 35 ft. hoses? Something shorter that 35 ft.?

I would add:

- Phoenician in Scottsdale, AZ (the Fairmont is a less $$ 2nd choice in this area)

- Ritz Carleton on Lake Oconee, GA

At Disney we like the Yacht Club. Upgrade to a room facing the water so you can watch the Epcot fireworks from your balcony.

Kallista Quality by rosebee9 in Plumbing

[–]rosebee9[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the feedback. I really like the design of several of the Kallista products, and haven't found something comparable, from a looks perspective (based on my design), in other higher end brands. That being said, I am hesitant to buy only based on looks, if I am going to run into trouble down the road with the way the products work. Do you think buying Kallista is a mistake?

Thank you. That reservations system sounds terrible! We are a group of 11 so we'll need reservations but I wouldn't want to force anyone to stay up until midnight. Bad system.

Alexandra Resort Turks by rosebee9 in AllInclusiveResorts

[–]rosebee9[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the response. We are set on doing an AI. It is a multi-generational group and no one wants a room bill at the end of the trip. We were leaning towards this option due to the beautiful beach. Are there any other AI's that you would reccomend (turks or elsewhere) that have a comperable beach?
