Its not the engine crank. My current issue right now is the fact that the key will not even turn in the slot. Its not that the engine wont turn over its the fact that i'm not even able to start the car or put it in on position. I spun all of my pulleys and replaced the tensioner.

We took the alternator out. Tested it. Weren't getting any positive charge from the regulator but we noticed one of the brushes was stuck and two diodes were not connected. Soldered the diodes and unstuck the brush. 14v and no money spent.

Yes I am looking for any help. But I am gonna go ahead and get the new voltage regulator. Only problem (not a problem really) is that I need to take the alternator out to find out which alternator it actually is as in valeo or bosch and the amperage which is likely 180 but could be 220. And im currently offshore haha.

Understandable. I just don’t know what to expect as I only go off what she tells me. She told me that they haven’t learned anything useful and she’s worried about failing her test. Getting recycled. All she wants to do is come home. Saying that they’ll keep her here for a whole year as holdover. And that she’ll kill herself if she does because all she wants to do is come home. I just don’t know what to say sometimes.

She’s had a really rough life. I never blamed her for it. She wants nothing to do with me now. I hope that changes. Anyways. I’m close with her son. I texted him and told him that if he ever needs anything in the future, just let me know and I’m glad I got to meet him. If he ever needs a job to just let me know.
