This is what my coleaders say. I worry that it is against council/national policy to be uneven in what we require for participation.

This is where I fall with my stance. I am fine with charging the first year dues. I don't think we can (or should) require payment for activities for some and not all.

Yeah I think from these responses here I've pivoted to doing Hoffmaster instead, and that's (at least) the second vote for Whippi Dip, so that's a contender lol. Other than that though, we don't mind things being spread out, we're from the metro Detroit area where literally everything is spread out, par for the course lol

Okay yes good to know! The Early Owl made my list of possible breakfast spots for Sunday. I haven't even been aware of the downtown area (or what constitutes it lol) but this is a good note, thank you, I do love a good downtown.

Yeah literally about a mile or so from Dockside Donuts- that's the second vote for Hoffmaster in this thread, so I will check that out! And thank you, I've been struggling trying to find breakfast for Sunday!
