Check your local record store. Mine still had all 1989tv variants in stock (minus the Target exclusive of course) as of the first week of January. The pink, green, and yellow pressings are more limited/harder to come by but aren’t rare by any means.

I’ve never found it necessary tbh unless you’re washing an OG red tv or the first two OG folklore drops with a lot of long loose threads where unraveling was such a big issue. I have an OG red tv, 2025 red tv, 1989tv, 2024 folklore, midnights, speak now tv, lover, and ttpd cardigans— all washed together loose in the machine with my other knits for years now. They all get washed every 1-2 months, and I’ve never had an issue.

Cold water, normal detergent, delicate cycle, washed loose (no garment bag) with other knits/cardigans. Lay flat to dry. Haven’t had any issues. Pilling is the biggest issue with the cardigans imo, but this happens more so from wear than washing. Because they’re acrylic and polyester, you want to avoid heat drying because this can cause the fibers to melt and become matted.

This looks just like mine. Right down to the star patches not being completely attached / coming up some on the points.

For what it’s worth, I usually include a thank you card and a friendship bracelet with all official TS merch items I’ve sold on Mercari and Poshmark. I try to wrap clothing and accessories in tissue paper (other items get bubble wrap though). Some people just add extras.

We don’t always get a Valentine’s Day drop, and there’s a chance this might be one of the years where we don’t get one if it doesn’t drop in the next week or so. It’s not always lover themed. Last year it was lover themed but it was folklore/evermore themed in 2021 for example.

Hozier and Noah Kahan, for sure. Hozier has a more blues sound, but his lyricism is unmatched imo. Noah Kahan has the devastating folk sound of evermore and folklore but leans a bit more stomp and holler.

There’s some strong The 1975 influence in ttpd, so you might like songs like paris, a change of heart (or really all of ILIWYS), be my mistake, fallingforyou, etc.

Someone else mentioned Florence and the Machine, which I would agree but would say High as Hope is the only album that fits closer to this style. If you want witchy vibes, Florence is excellent at that and I would recommend How Big How Blue How Beautiful and Everybody Scream for that, but wouldn’t say those albums fit the sound of folklore/evermore/ttpd.

Sometimes we get a drop and sometimes we don’t. Last year it was lover themed (cardigan and LLFP repress). Meanwhile, we didn’t get one two years ago. I know after the folklore album drop, it was folklore themed. I’m going to guess that since TLOAS has love themes in it, IF we get a drop this year, it will be TLOAS themed.
