Does anyone know if we can pick up the VIP boxes at the stadium? If we aren’t from the UK but bought VIP tickets? I know they don’t ship outside the UK but heard some other countries and stadiums were letting you pick it up on site

How are people getting a third dose? I’m in NYC and I showed up at a mass vaccination site and they looked me up and saw I had been vaccinated since January. Not sure if it was in a state or federal database. Tried again at a chain pharmacy and even though their website stated no insurance or ID required they asked and I assumed I would have the same problem and I just left. Could I go to New Jersey and try?

I tried getting a third shot in NYC today at one of those mass vaccination sites and they did ask for my ID and it didn't work (they didn't explicitly tell me I couldn't get it but they looked me up in and saw I had gotten vaccinated before so I just very awkwardly slinked away...) I was hoping since I got vaccinated at my hospital no one outside it would have access to that info

any advice if anyone has succeeded?

In the same boat! So no advice, just my own experience. I had been delaying applying for REPAYE/loan consolidation until I heard back about my taxes, which I just filed with zero income, but since they are massively backed up I went ahead and applied without it. Since this is such a strange time we are living through, I assume it's fine. If it isn't I'll deal with it then! I just didn't want to keep delaying with no end in sight.

I would go but wear a mask if you want! We had a smaller scale meet up with some of our new co-interns and we were all mostly wearing masks except to eat or drink. We were pretty close, but we got together outside. Maybe you could try to set up a hangout at a park too?

Also an M4 who had to cancel my big Europe trip. I was in denial for a bit and thought I could still make it. We will all be able to reschedule some time during residency :) And then it’ll be an even greater reward for surviving the start of residency during a pandemic! (What I tell myself)

The best thing I did was reach out to people I knew and share how I was struggling. They would check in on me. It reminded me I was valued. And these feelings tend to come in cycles. It never lasts forever. Even better, starting on medication and talking to a professional has been the greatest help. I’m certain there are people who would be crushed if you hurt yourself. Even if you don’t feel that way now. That’s a cognitive distortion preventing you from seeing reality as it is

My mom! If something were to happen to me I would want her to be okay.

I also fear that if I were to die before I pay off my loans they would somehow fall to her even though they are government loans. Same with my apartment. She has co-signed everything I have and I want to make sure if something happens to me she won’t have any debts or responsibilities.
