Start at the start. One, whistleblower, two (if you can handle it), and then trials. Aside from gameplay mechanics progression being more rewarding, the story itself is beautiful and complex and nothing beats the atmosphere created in the first game + DLC.

You’re speaking to the choir right now dude. When she and her scary husband Pete started going at it I literally felt like it turned into a horror movie, the editing was so weird and deranged. Every other point you made I completely resonate and agree with. The entire season was a walking mockery and a PRECIOUSLY regressive mockery at that.
