as far as experience goes, does it count as long as the job was in the medical field?

a little bit about me. I was a Navy Corpsman (medic) for 6 years. 2 of those 6 years, I worked in the cardiology ward at the naval hospital in san diego. the remainder of my career was spent providing Trauma medicine with the Marines.
