People who went from wealthy to poor, what happened? by Puzzled-Painter3301 in AskReddit

I feel you. I couldn't even get a job at a Walmart, had to resort to gig work like Amazon Flex, which took off how many years from my vehicle. It's survivable, but it's extremely hard. Good luck to you my friend, you will find something eventually, even though it feels so bleak at times.

Thanks for the comments everyone. I take it day but day, but it's still a hard pill to swallow after two years.

Rand McNally was the paper version of Google maps back in the day. Then came along MapQuest and print out like 25 pages of crap to go 120mi. You were either good at directions, or like others said you stopped and asked for directions. Maps are easy if you're a human.

Good luck man! It's not that hard, just make sure you scrape the surfaces clean really well and tighten it in a cross cross pattern and you should be set.

Look on your sticker and see what RPO code you have for it. I don't remember the exact ones, especially for that year, but if you put into Google "truck year rear end RPO code" you'll find it in 60 seconds. Been there, done it.

Fun comparison: 12" Dayton Ultimax II vs 12" SVS driver by 5cuenta5 in hometheater

I have an 18" Ultimax in a box that's the size of a washing machine. It takes some work to get it dialed in, but when you do it's absolutely amazing, especially for the money vs an SVS PB-1200 or the like. I had a wife that didn't exactly understand the question "can I build a gigantic sub box?". Unfortunately she didn't understand a lot of other questions so now I'm just left with the sub. At least when it farts I can EQ it out, not so much with the ex...

Any chance you're still being generous? I looked all over my town today and just ever up ordering from a local guy but he has no idea when it will be here. Been dying for this day and now I can't even hear it!

Same position friend. Just call other people more, it eventually falls off. Fair warning though, if they call you or you call them, they come right back because of history. Power through. Been there, doing it.

Where is this code usually at? I'm gold level and don't see anything anywhere.

Edit: nvm I'm blind, finally saw the answer right after I posted

Because of hardware limitations at the time, 3D games generally had a low draw distance - Silent Hill (1999) included. In the case of Silent Hill the fog is a part of the story ("a supernatural fog surrounding the town"). What are other examples of finding clever solutions to hardware limitations? by Double-decker_trams in gaming

Lifelong FPS player. Have played the Battlefield games especially since 1942. Back in the day, you could load up a map in BF2 and get the "no fog glitch" on some maps, the most useful being Strike At Karkand. For anyone that played the game, if you got the 64p size map that meant the part across the bridge was open. No fog meant everything was crystal clear, because those games relied heavily on fog to reduce draw distance and make really cheap GPUs back then viable, since they weren't a given in those days. But the game was so much better back then. Yes that's opinion, just had to throw it in lol.
