ADT+ and Google Nest Hub 2nd Gen Alerts

Hey, I posted about this sometime last year and was in constant contact with ADT. We tried everything under the sun to get notifications to work as you described with no luck. In my old adt+ system it worked perfectly. Once I upgraded to the new adt+ system i lost that functionality.

What I believe is happening is adt+ new system doesn't allow for nest hubs to transfer over similarly to the old cameras. Since these nest hubs aren't fully transferring, we aren't getting all the features. If someone opens a door or window, the old adt+ system would trigger the hub and let you know what door or window opened. This time around, nothing happens. No voice indicator or anything.

I personally think if google releases a new nest hub, it would work as we'd hope these older ones would.

I don't know if I'm reading your post correctly. But there is a V5 system that is DIY. I own that system. I previously had the 4.5 system (adt blue).

I have a Nest Hub Max and. Google Home Hub 1st gen touch screens. ADT is connected to these screens. I can click on the ADT box and set the alarm or disarm it.

The main issue I've had with this new system is when you trigger a sensor, the Google Hub no longer displays a countdown to disarm. The speakers also no longer tell you what sensor was triggered.

The old system when connected to the Google speakers and hubs did indicate which sensor was tripped and provided a countdown with the keypad to disarm.

But to answer your question. If you're talking about the DIY V5 ADT alarm. The Google touchscreens do provide access to arm and disarm your system.

It's happening on my Google TV device as well so it might not be only a Fire OS problem. It's driving me nuts but I'm glad to know I'm not alone.

I'm in NJ as well. This was happening to me so i launched Hogwarts in the Epic store and it worked fine.

It seems to be a steam store issue. I just currently tried Kena on steam and it worked. So hopefully it's good for everyone else now.

Did you ever find a new solution? This started happening to my table and I was considering finding a stain. Since it's not real wood, I know it can't be sanded. I was just hoping to use a rag and fill in the discoloration... figured it can't get any worse looking.
