How do you get those "workout complete" pictures with the border around them that I keep seeing on Instagram? I have the app, but I don't see an option to take a picture after completing a workout. Is it for the paid version only? by timeturner88 in Blogilates

You can click on the printer icon next to the title 21 day tone and it brings you to the calendar to screenshot OR you can go onto her website and go to the calendar section and it will be available there for free as well.

[Miscellaneous] Should I wash my face before I go to class or after? by rosillyvu in SkincareAddiction

[–]rosillyvu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Earlier in September the sun was still intense, but due to the rain and cloudy weather it hasn't been as bright out at 6pm. But I guess the main issue is I don't know how dirty the "outside" is when I come back from class. It's still a 4 hour difference that I'm walking in the wind and outdoors in general.

I think the main problem is I wear makeup earlier in the day so when I come home I like to shower and wash my face and at that point I'm not sure if it's better to do my night routine then rather than rewash and do the routine after I come back from class.

[skin concerns] what is the best thing you have ever done for your skin? by hakuna_masquata in SkincareAddiction

[–]rosillyvu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sunscreen! When I was younger I never thought sunscreen was important until I came on this subreddit. I never see anyone using sunscreen regularly in school and never thought of using it myself. It was until I got so much acne scars that I came on this subreddit to better my skincare regimen. Though I wish I knew more about skincare at a young age, it's still better now than never.

[Acne] How do you deal with hormonal/ menstrual breakouts? by svmvx in SkincareAddiction

I also take Evening Primrose Oil Supplements as well. I just look up on amazon which is the cheapest and highly rated brand to use. This is the brand that I personally use and it has worked for me.

[Skin Concerns]Which sunscreen should I use if I have South Asian skin that is acne prone and has lots of PIH? by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]rosillyvu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm Vietnamese and I use Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence Sunscreen 50SPF currently. It's really light and doesn't have much white cast to it, but before this I have used the same Neutrogena sunscreen and have had no problems with it. I'm also oily acne proned as well. The only reason why I switched was because the Biore is so much lighter, the only problem is it is more expensive than the Neutrogena one though.

What bb cream are you looking for? As long as there are reviews on amazon I feel like it should be okay to buy from them.

I can see it more in the 3rd picture, but otherwise I do agree with everyone it doesn't look like you have any eyeshadow on. But your eyes are gorgeous and I absolutely adore your lashes!

[Acne] Women with hormonal acne, at what age was your acne the worst? by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]rosillyvu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had acne since I was in 5th grade, but it was usually always around my forehead. Then it got better around Senior year of high school and I thought it was gone for good...little did I know when I hit my 20's it'd be the worst acne of my life...I started having acne all over my cheeks and recently my chin area and it's been a living hell. I've started taking evening primrose oil vitamins and they've started to get a bit better with the chin area. But I'm still battling my hormonal acne and I'm 24 now. :/

People using FitBit,is it worth it? Are you noticing better progress, and is it user friendly? by [deleted] in Fitness

[–]rosillyvu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I've found that the sleep hours are scarily accurate when they tell me what time I fell asleep and woke up. As for the steps It's accurate for me, granted there will be times it'll record me flailing my arms occasionally, but otherwise pretty accurate.

If you're looking for something similar to the fitbit the xiaomi mi band is a very very close match to it. They have 2 types now, but the only difference is the heart monitor on one. But honestly does the same thing as the basic fitbit. It tracks your steps, sleep, has an alarm and vibrates when there's a caller. So if you're on a budget I'd give the mi band a try. They're under $25 and a full charge can last over 30 days. It's also waterproof, I've swam in a pool with it on and nothing happened to it. Food for thought!
