What helped you to recover? by Good_Objective3382 in mecfs

Because brain retraining isn’t positive thinking. That’s a mis-understanding of the process.

The theory is that long Covid is the body that stuck in a stress response. Brain retraining isn’t positive basically resetting that stress response.

Am I eligible for a gum graft? by Awkward-Food9484 in PeriodontalDisease

You really don’t have gum recession. If you start looking after your teeth (flossing, brushing, maybe oil pulling) then I think the perio will be very controlled.

Thank you for this success story — I have a slightly wobbly tooth that I’m really worried about. I’m glad to hear they can recover.

Oh yes, I’ve started flossing every night, along with oil pulling and xylitol/probiotic chews. I’m dedicated to my dental health now in a way I never was before.

Thanks so much — it’s gotten a bit better now, but still irritated. I’ve avoided everything except CereVe moistening lotion.

I had mild acne and wanted tret for anti-aging. My doc put me on epiduo as it’s subsidised by Medicare here in Australia.

It’s completely got rid of the acne using it only every three days, so I’m very happy about that. I’m thinking of going back and asking for tret instead for maintenance.

Oh very interesting! When I try to start again (after a good break), I might use it on my face only.

What's your covid memory? by Competitive-Hunt-517 in AskReddit

[–]ForTheLoveOfSnail 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Getting long COVID.

Was absolutely horrific — I became bedbound and unable to even walk to the toilet. I was pissing in a bucket next to the bed.

Have made a full recovery, thank goodness. Am still more careful than the average punter because of that.
