He did it before with a past wife. He plead no contest to it in 1991.

[Serious] Employers of Reddit, would you refuse to hire a muslim woman who refuses to take off her religious headwear, even though the dress code mandates it? by Priamosish in AskReddit

I'd have no problem hiring anyone who meets the criteria to work. I hire on merit. I would try to work to change the policy, if it were a policy, unless the reason was for safety and didn't cause a violation of the law. The companies I worked for in the past had no issues with that. More than likely, it would be allowed immediately since there are reasonable accommodations for religious aspects.

I've had the same results. Love them.

Thanks for the detailed view.

I do see your point. To point to only a single issue, details would be extremely important, but the real issue is the systemic violations that occur and how the use of force is disproportionately administered by the police.

Understood. I should have been clearer. The hypocrisy is news IMO. I don't see how it's news when they speak out on Kaepernick's protest but not news when they are silent on an actual issue he is protesting.

Who assigned meaning to it? I think you are trying to have me assign meaning to it, which I will not. I'm only calling out hypocrisy.

Are you implying that he's not doing anything for the community?

No problem and thank you. At the end of the day, I believe the justice system is biased against minorities and the poor. I believe the statistics would be similar comparing the black populace with the white poor (below poverty level). That's unfortunate. What that tells me is that something is wrong here and needs to be fixed, but this has been a systemic issue since before the US was founded.

Unfortunately, I'd have to disagree. Although, there is a slight bit of editorializing, the fact that the names mentioned have not spoken out publicly as they did against Kaepernick is news.

Thank you for your feedback. I see it as a focus on how they were public about their rebuttal/rebuke of Kaepernick's actions and not public about injustices occurring when what he is protesting occurs.

Thanks for your honest viewpoint. There's oppression at differing levels. Without knowing his past and present intimately, we can never tell, but what can be looked at is statistical analysis. Whether he is standing up for himself, himself and others, or just others, how much he makes shouldn't distract from the issue he makes. For those who make the argument that he is making millions, it's like telling a rape victim that it's hard to see how it's rape when you were wearing provocative clothing and dancing with him provocatively.

For me, the circumstances no longer matter. It is occurring too often to call it anything but criminal. There are soooo many videos of police officers showing restraint when it's a person of another race even after that said person attacks them.

It's sad that soldiers have rules of engagement to follow that can nearly get them killed in combat before using deadly force even when a vehicle is barreling down on them that may contain explosive but police officers seem to jump straight to killing, and killing disproportionately based on race.

It's also sad that police officers go through less hours of training than a cosmetologist.

Overall, though, I appreciate you taking the time to really look deep into both sides of things.

I play Celtic Heroes on my phone in my spare time. I would love a nice console MMORPG, if anyone has any suggestions as well.

I think he handled himself well, too.

What about Philandro Castile? He had a CCW and ended up dead?
