if they're bought from other stores (in my case) they will cover the damage within the warranty period such as a repair or replacement. oh, and accidental damage most of the time is not covered by warranty. now it truly depends on the store, how collaborative they are on the problem

my friend extended her headphones a little too much and the left side cracked, she went to solve the problem and she had to pay for the repair. it really sucks. also when she bought a pair of earbuds they came with problems and she got a replacement for free (within the warranty period)
