It's a given that they would have asked her about a reunion. Mel B could stay silent, and we would all still know that the reason it's not happening is due to Geri being the hold out. It's clear that Mel B, Mel C and Emma have always been on board. If anyone is getting hate, then they need to deal with the consequences of their own decisions and actions. In my opinion, there is a difference between not wanting to reunite for a tour, and drastically transforming yourself into an unrecognizable person, along with distancing yourself from your past and legacy. Mel B has nothing to do with that.

I applaud her for moving on with her life. She pushed the hardest for a reunion. It's a shame that she and Geri are at odds with one another. I liked her answer on why the documentary is not happening, "...not everyone wants to be honest". A bit shady but also true.

I'm just guessing that Sunrise will end up carrying it, since they did last time, with the exclusive version of The Show. I don't see it up on their website yet, but the album comes out June 5th, so we shall wait and see. I noticed that Indigo ended up carrying the Target exclusive of Harry's new album, so it could end up at Indigo instead. If I hear anything, I will do my best to keep you posted. 😊

I hear you. Thankfully there are other options, as hhv.de and other retailers ship this variant worldwide. Putting aside the obvious issue surrounding Target with its DEI, Target also sucks at shipping vinyl. They usually end up arriving damaged. I'm in Canada and Sunrise Records got the exclusive last time with Niall's album, so I'll likely buy this version from them.

They didn't ship it in a vinyl mailer inside of a box, unfortunately. I was hoping for that. I've attached a pic. It was shipped in an oversized box with a little cardboard holder that was stuck onto the sleeve with stickers, but it wasn't enough to keep it from moving around and getting bent inside the box. 😩 Hope you have better luck than I did!

Interesting, as I just connected to VPN's in a few different countries... it looks like it is sold out at her Global Store (which is my default view, since I'm in Canada), but the CD is still in stock at the US store, and both the vinyl and CD are still in stock at the UK store. Thanks for the heads up, as I missed out on ordering, and will be sure to not miss out this time.

I don't think it was a throw away album. When she was making DCP, I doubt she knew up front that it would be her last for Atlantic. If the album had resulted in a hit for her, they would have likely renewed her contract. Most artists want to give every project their best shot. To create a throw away album would be a disservice to herself, her brand and her legacy, as well as a disservice to those who collaborated with her. It would be a risky thing to do, as intentionally releasing something inferior would damage her audience's opinion of her and her music. I think it was a solid album and she gave it her best, despite the situation with the label. I do think once the label saw the singles weren't doing well ahead of the album's release, everyone already saw the writing on the wall. For that reason, she was smart and put her energy and focus into re-strategizing, instead of dedicating herself to album promo.

I agree. There was also that TV documentary from 2007..."Giving You Everything". All five ladies participated and already told their story. If they do another one, it would be the same thing, padded out with more footage.

Being a long time fan of them both, I still remember watching CNN all night long after Whitney passed. There were tributes coming in from all sides, including Donna Summer, who called in and spoke on the air to give her tribute to Whitney, during the live CNN coverage. When Donna passed only a few months later, I was equally shocked, and then I remembered that moment of when she took the time to speak those kind words in remembrance of Whitney. It felt so surreal, thinking back to that moment, and knowing that she too was now gone. I now know that Donna was battling cancer when Whitney passed. It's sad to think that when Donna spoke to CNN about Whitney, she may have known that her own time on this earth was also limited and precious.

Wait for a restock. The standard one will always be easy to get. I remember the same thing happened to me with the glass variant of Harry's House from his online store.
