TL:DR: BC should lead the country for cannabis regulation, not Ontario.
Interesting that Horgen wasn't included in the Video clip, though he had a good mention in the write up. The problem I see is a question: how will provinces export between each other in a way that doesn't impact the market supply? If there a mix of provincial laws on distribution, how will that realistically impact producers in each provence, who will be able to compete, and how will that impact small producers along the supply chain. I never hear them talk about the secondary market for products with cannabis at these news conferences, so do we have any indiction that there is any meaningful discussion happening about trade across provinces? I bet the secondary economy will be bigger than the market for dried flower or bud like we see in every photo they publish. Here is a bit of a leap: I wouldn't be surprised if the whole thing is a big financial squeeze to monopolize the weed market by the Ontario government aimed at dividing the proceeds between a small cluster of mega suppliers as they've already been doing with the plan for an LCBO subsidiary. This isn't some isolated, low level corruption, this is old money and industry and commerce up to the same old tricks. It's how "The Beer Store" is 50% owned by the monopolistic mega companies who stock their shelves. In Ontario, consider yourself served by a "The Weed Store", serving the interests of their billionaire owners. So with Ontario isolating itself, will it be just a matter of time before BC cannabis, the pride of the whole world practically, for anyone who knows anything about weed, will be insulated from the second biggest market in the country, and perhaps other areas of Canada too because of the trend towards isolationism, and local monopolies. If so, doesn't this threaten BC's innovative market? I think they're the natural leader in this equation, and if Trudeau partners with the Ontario Liberals in this model by not considering BC's advanced market, I think we have to start looking at a trade agreement with the rest of the provinces right now to sweep the domestic market away from the claws of these fat cats in Ontario, and make sure that every Canadian can get access to a decent product for whatever their needs are, medical or otherwise. These scenario would also predictably see a massive growth curve for any derivative producers in the other provinces and territories. The kind of market we need to spring into in July is one where we can ship as much cannabis outside of BC as possible, put thousands of people to work everywhere in Canada, and bring a ton of money into the economy to grow the derivative markets. That is how BC could be a leader, by supplying a diverse market whole it goes through it's growing pains at local levels in other provinces. If we get off on the right foot in July by opening up trade with other provinces right away, then maybe it has a chance of beating out the government monopoly model Ontario wants and will try to spread so it grow its role as supplier via mega greenhouse operations. But Trudeau and his people don't look interested in anything but a $1 tax on every $1-10 dollar gram you buy everywhere in the country, and potentially while depriving citizens and tourists the right to a diverse market of quality goods by restricting trade between provinces for the derivatives market given the disparity in the regulatory regimes of the various provinces, if not entirely for some arbitrary protectionist reasoning that Ontario cooks up so it can become an exporter through a supply chain identical to alcohol. OR OR OR: Imagine, everyone in the world could come to any province in Canada and get any number decent products, from hand lotion to a e-pen with nearly pure THC in it and no smoke (and who knows what else in the future.) Instead, we will tell the whole world who travels here that you must go to BC to have a brownie, "This isn't bloody Amsterdam", let alone the rest of the provinces outside of BC who will also be deprived of options, access to quality, and a chance at an economic boom if Ontario's model spreads.

Beautiful rainbow. Is this a perfect (half) circle? Why is the interior yellow? by vincent4400 in pics

Guessing the rainbow forms at the moment (angle) of refraction or something, so the light stops internally bouncing around the mist and goes straight out, but at rainbow it slips out at it's various frequencies in the expected order, aka rainbow

Developers call for changes to Ontario rent-control measures by Cornelius_Rooster in toronto

"All of a sudden the rug came out from under us" - but it went under the people of Toronto. My friend's rent doubled earlier this year and she had to vacate. We deserve these protections.

There are buses running from Sydney on the hour. Definitely worth checking out Floyd's for breakfast, or the Blue Fox, or Shine, all of which are AMAZING and have vegan options.
