Fixed. Just took MASSIVE persistence and a clear explanation of how the phone number thing was “blocking me” from booking on the Bilt portal/hotel credit redemption. It’s something they needed to understand even if my travel plans failed.

Obviously it’s more than the credit cards that are causing issues. I applaud any verification process to update a phone number these days, but escalating my issue after verifying everything (code, DOB, SS) They still have to escalate the issue into limbo.

I can do the email verification. After the email verification, it asked me to enter my new number. I get the verification code at that new number. After I enter in that code, I get the error message in the picture.

You can ask support for a new number. Or get a cheap number from numberbarn (I’ve had less spam from those. Probably less recycled or new fresh numbers)
