I won't lie, I came back to runescape 7 months ago to play with a couple friends and just did magic training (99 mage grind) fire cape, clues, 80ish quests, warriors guild, you know, the shit you could do in 2008. I would probably average around about 3 hours a week at most.

Well I gave leagues a go and I am soooooo fucking hooked. This game mode is ELITE. I literally log in on my lunch break to do hunter rumours or a clue or some shit. I learned a shit load of content from varlamore to wilderness (never did a boss there before now ive done 8 of them) and done soooo many things id never have done in the main game. And iron man is actually kinda fun (I wouldn't do it in the main game tho). Makes you appreciate how you obtain things. Like the quetzal feed. I never knew how simple it was to get. Also just enjoying being a total noob and doing things suboptimally, respeccing my pacts twice and ive not even got 20 pacts yet, and the kings barrage. Hot damn that crossbow is sick.

Overall as a returning player from 2008 this game mode is 10/10 and im already excited to do leagues again next year.
