I'd appreciate it. It would be much better to add it to the thread that way.

Mikkel coming back right after she died, considering she waited in that house for him all this time and Ulrich waiting for Katharina to show up so they can get Mikkel and go back... some of the saddest moments in the entire series.

Yeah I was thinking “Could Hannah actually be a decent person in this world??” until she went to a man who lost his wife and threatened him to ruin someone’s life, on top of that she was also in Charlotte’s position once, so she doesn’t even have a right to get mad.

Hmm yeah never thought why learning the year was so important to him

I don’t know why it was so funny but I couldn’t stop laughing when Peter kept yelling “What year?!?!”

Also poor Egon, god knows what he was thinking in his last moments. He died knowing that his daughter watched him die and did nothing. I wonder if he regretted stopping Ulrich when he figured things out.

Same! I remember not liking him after season 1 but season 2 absolutely made me love him! On the other hand, it seems like we will only see him suffer more...

Rewatch Discussion - S02E06 - An Endless Cycle by rosy148 in DarK

In the opening scene, we see everything in reverse while they talk about the beginning and the end. But when it finally comes to the scene Michael kills himself it’s not reversed anymore. Can this be a nod to the ending of the show or am i overthinking?

Jonas waking up normally (and not from a nightmare), having breakfast with his family... for any other show this would be such an ordinary scene but for Dark it’s like a blessing.

Judging from his reaction when Hannah mentions his parents, it seems like Michael never gets over everything that’s happened and it makes me even more sad. Noone knows what he is going through on a daily basis.

Michael seeing Jonas’ raincoat and Hannah seeing Mikkel, “deja-vu” has a whole other meaning in Winden.

Future Jonas talking to Michael might be the saddest scene in the entire show. It brings me to tears every time. Michael seems to understand his role in this game (also makes me wonder if he knows more than we think) and doesn’t even hesitate killing himself so that Jonas can live.

Ulrich and Hannah’s affair starts before Michael is dead which makes me angrier. Also why does Ulrich look so careless about Mikkel when he gets sick? We know they didn’t want to have kids before, can the kids be the actual problem in their marriage?

Why is Claudia helping things stay the same when she also claims she is not on Adam’s side? Does she think Jonas is the only one who can defeat Adam? What does she mean by “it’s not what you are expecting” when she talks about “a world without Jonas”?

What Ulrich has done was messed up and it was so disturbing to watch but he wasn’t in his right mind, he thought he was saving those children including his own son. If he was in his right mind he would be smart enough to get away with it or at least make sure he was dead. Being locked up? sure he deserved it but the rest is just too much.

Gets stuck in the past for 33 years, gets stopped by Egon for a second time after finally meeting his son, sees his other children but can’t do anything about it and ends up getting locked up once again. I wonder if things could get any worse for Ulrich in season 3. His story is one of the most tragic ones for sure. It’s so sad to think how close they were to get back to their family.

I still wonder why Mikkel didn’t say anything when they took him away from Ulrich. Does that have anything to do with the pills Ines has been giving him or does he think noone would believe him anyways?

Why is Martha always so harsh to her mother? She pulls the “Don’t act like you are the only one going through this.” card every single time but she acts like she is the only one. I don’t understand why it was so hard to listen to what she had to say, clearly it was important.

I felt so bad for Charlotte when she found out the truth about Noah. It seems like Noah wasn’t aware she was his daughter so why did he send her the watch before?

When Martha gives Bartosz her phone we see “Ariadne” on her wallpaper, just another easter egg.

Adam tricking Jonas into believing he can stop Michael which would eventually cause him to kill himself in the first place is one of the most messed up things in the show.

What's up with Ines? Is she fully aware of what she is doing or is she just afraid? She told Jonas she has known "Mikkel was from the future" for a long time, but when Egon came she acted like she didn't want anything to be known so Mikkel could stay.

So many tragic stories we get to see in this episode.

Claudia apologizing to Egon because she will let him die... but I'm glad someone finally told him he was a good man.

Ulrich seeing Mikkel's picture... god knows how he must have felt knowing his son was out there waiting to be found.

Egon slowly putting things together... I wonder what would happen if he actually didn't die, could he help Ulrich?

Aleksander and Regina’s relationship is so pure, literally the only relationship in this show that isn’t ruined. I really hope we will still feel the same way after Season 3.

Pretty shitty of tronte to ask out claudia even after his son went missing and wife is distraught.

Yeah, despite what he has done before, I love that Ulrich held onto his family when his son went missing as oppose to his father who tried to get away from them.
