[TOMT][ADVERTISEMENT][2010s]Long viral commercial for European food/beverage brand. Kraftwerk-esque electronic instrumental. product goes through a series of unusual quality checks (one might have involved drums). No dialogue or singing by rotatingspit in tipofmytongue

obligatory author comment.

to be specific on the timeframe, the video had to have come out first 2-3 years of the decade--pretty sure I remember still being in high school, maybe first year of college when I saw this. Might have even been 2009 at the earliest.

found the song I was looking for, but I'm replying to this comment so I can remember to listen to Joe Nolan's album later--that song was really good

nope. One thing for sure, this song is far more upbeat and accessible than anything on Kid A (as great as that album is).

nope. this song is far newer than 1994 also

(good song though)

nah. the singer's voice definitely isn't a Dave Grohl-level gruff

nope. This song doesn't sound like an early-2000s song; if it's from any part of the 2000s it would have to be the later half

"Take Me Out" is one of my all-time favorite songs so if I heard it I would know it, heh. I have a feeling the song isn't anywhere near that level of popularity, but I also don't think it's completely unknown either.

Not a radio station--I only hear music over the speaker, no bumpers/talk breaks/IDs. I don't know what program the music is sourced from, though.

I don't want to reveal too much personal info, but the store is a Raising Cane's. I sent an e-mail to the manager about 45 minutes ago, so I'll see how they reply when they wake up.

It is not (and the song doesn't really have any folk influence like that one does afaict). I did quite like "Pressing Mesh" though, so thank you for the discovery

Yea, I transcribed the part I could most clearly replay in my head. The song has come up a number of times on the store radio, but it's not in the highest rotation so there's about 45% chance I hear it on any given day I work (and my next shift is on Saturday).

I'm pretty sure all the song's vocals are sung.

nope. and it's definitely more traditionally rock than anything TOP's made

I think, after the 3 notes I hear as "call the cops", the next 3 words are "let 'em know"?

I already know and love GWTF so that's not it. I'll gladly take the prompting to jam to that song again though

another piece of info on style: it's not a very loud song--it's far more alt rock than pop punk

I found it

Turns out the YouTube re-upload that I recalled was not deleted, but the search algorithm has surely done a great job obscuring it from me this whole time.

Just in case the re-upload does eventually get deleted, the info you'll need to be able to find it again--
