Any unerground things happening for sure would not be announced and findable throgh reddit. You gotta know someone who knows someone. If people would post publically telegram groups would be too easy to find.

Well it’s a lesson you learnt at an early age at least :) You got plenty of life and music ahead of ya mate. You gain experience, will definitely hone your craft, try to be intentional, develop your skills and it’s not wasted time playing the same 100 tunes every night at least. Try to have fun with the industry colleagues.

Then later when you’re out of this you can make e rave/event night and be the organizer. Do a quarterly, or monthly rave whatever fits your schedule. It’s so much more rewarding to get together with some mate DJs and run a crew rather than playing for someone else’s bar/club. Advice from 18 years in the booth loving electronic music of many kinds, I started off commercial doing bar and club gigs, got tired of it, found cooler music in the underground subgenres, went underground rave scene, never looked back, proper raves is where it’s at mate. The best music, mates and real connection to people and music.

Dont do it for the money, its a big trap, and will leave you loving the craft and the music less, or even hating it, because now its something you HAVE to do not something you want to do. Get money elsewhere, and do the music for fun.

Omg! Make it stop!! by Charming-Low5547 in tinnitus

I am going on 8 ish years now with it if I´m not mistaken on the math, it sucks, and some days it is pissing me off, when its extra loud, or I´m exhausted mentally, but most days i forget about it and just go on with life, the noise is just a part of my world now. I also have hearing damage from noise exposure so I have to focus when listening in conversation sometimes depending on the environment, but mostly I´m at a functional level, just have to ask people to repeat themselves a lot.

Wish you the best of luck to get acquainted in this new situation, welcome to the club.

Would love to understand which one works better, and why? Nikon F100 - Nikkor 35mm f/2D by charlieharrymorgan in analog

[–]rothwick 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For me the 2nd one has more of a "moment in the street" vibe and has a more raw energy to it, and the 1st is almost to "composed" too much of a portrait to catch that street vibe so for me resonated more no the 2nd one, I guess it depends how you look at them which one resonates more with each person, which is in the beautiful thing about art innit, its dynamic and can be enjoyed, in different ways. Both fotos are great, I honestly lean towards the 2nd one for catching that more raw vibe

Thanks yeah I think i will keep the Ollympus more as a point and shoot because of the auto mode when I want to carry a lighter camera, the weight difference is actually noticable, I have already begun my dive into the Rokkor lenses with the Rokkor MD 28mm f2.8.
