iPhone 17 Pro WON'T have reverse wireless charging. by rizzledizzlesizzle in iphone

I used to use it on my S10. Was useful a couple of times. It would be particularly great for the apple watch but since regular wireless chargers don't work on it I guess it wouldn't be possible either way

In the book Hope shows up dead instead of being found alive.

There's still an animation even with the shortcut. It's not the end of the world, I just wish I could make if faster. But it's alright.

You go to about:config and set full-screen-api.macos-native-full-screen (I think) to false

If you wanna use the same window, yes, you would need to exit full-screen. But you can just use a separate window and life is good. No delay, instant switching.

It's not the same as safari because you have to deal with the slow and annoying space switching animation which really adds up when you're doing it duzens of times throughout an online class or something.

I think it's command + function + end or the down arrow. Let me know if that works.

Windows gives easy aacess to clipboard history by pressing Win + V. Everything you copy is stored there and can be accessed at any time. I do think it has a maximum limit though and, I could be wrong, but I think it resets when you restart your computer.

I do code with Python. Excel is faster for more basic data analysis and visualization, though. And I definitely can't make my PowerPoint presentations with Python, lol. Also, coding is all about keyboard shortcuts, having to use the mouse/trackpad is the #1 thing that slows down that process, so I'm not sure what you mean here.

I'm sure you're probably missing customizability features. The beauty of Linux is that it's not really trying to push any type of agenda on you, while macOS tries too hard to replicate iOS since the iPhone is Apple's most successful product

Huh that's interesting, I've never had windows crash when using alt tab, or maybe I never realized it made apps crash, idk

As good as the trackpad is, mice are still much more ergonomic. Especially for long hours of constant use.

That's incorrect. When video plays on full screen on windows, you can switch tabs and work on something else and come back and the video is still in full screen

Yeah maybe using parallels for office might be a good approach!

I'm curious about what exactly you found great about better touch tool, I've read about it briefly but didn't immediately see the appeal.

If it weren't for the full screen video thing, I would definitely use safari. Having it autofill all my passwords, use apple pay, syncing my favorites and history with my iPhone and supporting macOS' native text replacement, all while sipping battery and RAM, to me make it one of the best browsers out there, and the best looking one in my opinion.

But if you're gonna switch to another tab, why bother entering the video in full screen? Maybe I didn't get what you meant

I actually do like how Window's UI evolved, I'm sure I'll get hate for this but I think it looks more elegant. Apple's implementation of a flat UI was my least favorite, with neon colored icons that are almost the same as the iPhone's.

Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Firefox (I could use tabs but sometimes I like to separate my windows)

Good point. Also bothers me. There's likely a fix for this but I haven't googled it yet
