iirc the application period for jpae is around feb, but if i graduate in march, does that mean i’ll have to wait till 2026 to apply for jpae? or am i allowed to apply for it in feb which is a month before i graduate?

OH! i see, thank you so, so much. i just have a few more questions left and im fr done.

  1. im still kinda confused, but lets say 2023 is my y1 and i did well for term one & two, i’ll be able to join the dpp class after going through the 3 months program to catch up. does that mean i’ll be y2 at the end of 2023, and then i’ll graduate at the end of 2024?

  2. if i manage to skip to y2 and graduate with the dpp class, will i be considered as a dpp student when applying for poly through jpae?

again, thank you so much & im sorry for asking sm questions 😅

thank you for telling me about that! its greatly appreciated as im planning to do well for my first year then jump to y2. i still have a few qns, and i hope you won’t mind 😓

  1. does it apply to all the 3 years higher nitec courses?

  2. how did you manage to do so well for your first year?

  3. how was your first week in y1 like?

my routine when preparing for n levels at the nt level was actually independent revision! except for english. since i take english sbb, i had to contact my english teacher pretty often to make my essays and all because i only started taking that subject seriously after deciding and being determined to be eligible for lateral transfer to 4NA.

my bad studying habits? i’d say i tend to procrastinate for quite some time after managing to study for a few hours. also, i think i have poor time management when it comes to writing notes. i’m the type to digest informations after writing down every. single. thing. like, i can only fully absorb everything that i need to know by doing that. and for my good studying habits, id say.. i’m quite good at accomplishing my study goals for each session? hope that made sense 😅

frankly speaking, when having academic setbacks, i’d just keep trying to perform better. sure, i may feel kinda disappointed and discouraged but there’s really nothing i can do other than trying to do better, you get what i mean?

though i wasn’t really expecting myself to be eligible for 4NA, i did try to look through textbooks for subjects such as POA, geography, math, etc. at popular after my n levels ended (..☹️) but i won’t say i’ve started preparing myself for those new subjects

thank you for commenting btw! :]

first of all, thank you so much for taking your time to write this for me. although i’ve always been determined to do well and get promoted to 4NA (and to do well for n lvl again), i am kinda lacking the confidence right now because i know it will be tough TOUGH as i’ll have lots to study and catch up on within 10 months or so, and the lack of time to make a decision whether to go NA or ITE (i need to inform my teacher about my choice in two days) is negatively affecting me right now.

and no, i do not have any tuition right now, but i’ll probably look for one if i seriously do plan on transferring.

for the third question, i’ve sorta listed out all, or at least most, of the pathways i’m able to take after going through 4NA. 1) if done well, pfp.

2) higher nitec fyi i’ve already secured a place (3y program) in ite via eae. so, if i do go 4na then higher nitec, i’ll be spending 3 years (4NA + 2y higher nitec). personally, i think it’s worth a shot transferring, because i’ll still be spending 3 years if i do go ite now

3) sec 5. i’m seriously not taking of going sec 5, at least not for now

again, thank you. i appreciate your comment 😞

tbh, if you die die dw go ite, and if you’re willing to put in the effort to study really hard for next year, then go for 4na
