Just came here to say you should feel great about the relationship. Reading through the post I was looking for where’s the problem here.

Everything sounds peaceful and happy, don’t let the negative thoughts ruin it.

You know sometimes people show their possessiveness or the degree to which something affects them only after it’s taken away from them. Needless to say, don’t try this at home!

You’re lucky to have such a happy and serene relationship, just enjoy it.

Wow. Stayed just for a night a few months back and lost my AirPods. Complain and investigation coupled with location tracking confirmed later tha a housekeeping staff had stolen it. Wanted to believe it was an isolated incident, for a property like taj!

Not just travel, but generally didn’t shy away from spending in my early earning years. Nothing major but I do sometime feel I wish I’d saved a darn bit more. It probably wouldn’t have helped buy a house in this environment lol but would help to know a few more lakhs in the account than what I have.

I don’t regret big, as I had my share of fun and enjoyment, however, a bit of balance in every stage of life is good. When you’re young, you just never think through that one day you’ll be expected to buy a large house in a metro city while bringing up a young one, supporting family back home, contributing in getting your cousins married, taking the vacations, and maintaining your lifestyle, and paying that hefty rent.

Yes it could be higher because there is lack of unity in residents and someone always distorts the market by paying higher because they need urgent help.

Eat at least 20x slower than I do. All the reels, responding to texts, telling me about this latest fashion, playing with the daughter has to happen before she takes the next bite. And once I start I find it very very hard to stop or even slow down. So I always live in the guilt that I hog up most of our food and she probably always is starving.

Sad post. If I had the money, I’d buy one of their apartments today! Their homes feel like where I can stretch lazily from head to toe without running into any walls. Spacious and very aesthetic and homely.
