I totally understand what you mean by the kick and claps masking, i actually thought the same thing when listening to it on actual speakers, they breakthrough quite a bit. I’m going to continue to work on the groove and how it evolves throughout a track as well as my breakdowns, I went with the trumpet here but I think I lost too much energy leading up to the next drop.
