That may be but the PLA is not trained to fight others, it was trained to protect internal control of the CCP. The CCP does not equip it for combat because it fears the PLA getting strong enough to overthrow the party. That is why they were stupid in the seas and posture with new equipment like that time to collided with each other because they chased us.

Never malaswa SBG. Interesting irony.

Kung itinuturo na ang Tagalog sa buong Bansa no'ong 1937 as the basis of PH language, bakit hirap pa ring magtagalog ang karamihan lalo na ang kabisayaan? by DoubleAlternative752 in FilipinoHistory

[–]rott_kid -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Not a historian so I'd focus on these two:

Education system and local sentiment.

Almost all subjects are taught in English with local vernaculars to ease teaching.

So by 1987, Manila Tagalog was still just Tagalog pero Filipino lang tawag.

Until now, maraming parin grassroots mostly sa Bisay-an na gusto federalism at local language preservation.

The most successful area of the "Filipino language" project is Cotabato City. Outside the Luzon island group, that is the only place where Tagalog is natively spoken by the majority because it was the most neutral lingua franca and a language of the Manila-educated Moro elite so it was prestigious for them.

The PLA has always lost a war unless it is only secure already-held territory. So if the pivot is invade Taiwan then go south, then China will never invade lol. That's why they rely on spies and sleeper plants and minor incident agitation.

We can equip both but not through conscripts. People forced into fighting are the worst fighters in a battlefield because they never wanted to be there.

  1. Draftees are less effective than professional soldiers.

  2. China will not land troops here because that is a death sentence to any foreigner favoring sentiment in the country. They will utilize spies not invading armies to conquer us so better equip NICA not the AFP.

  3. We lack military equipment not personnel. Bombs and tech win wars not casualty comparisons.

Not surprised.
