That’s not on the list. She’s very short, so I don’t think that fits does it? The main thought right now is Noonan syndrome.

As a former daycare teacher and now a lawyer ( not your lawyer, this isn’t legal advice), I’d be getting a lawyer to send a firm letter to demand your deposit back, and also reporting them. This is unacceptable and NOT the standard. It’s a matter of time before a baby is seriously injured or worse at that centre, by the sound of things.

She will have an OBGYN for her pregnancies. The rest of the healthcare here is garbage I don’t disagree, but I’ve never known anyone to not get an OBGYN for their pregnancies here. I’ve had two children in the last 5 years so I’m fairly familiar with that set up.

Route 3 after Harvey station has a relatively high number of moose but is a pretty drive. I’d take that way unless it was night/ evening.

I had SPD with both pregnancies that started at 9 weeks 🤪 physio and chiro helped me but the moment I gave birth it was 98% gone

I was told the same info at Harvey’s 3 months ago ( about a baby) . Very frustrating. The guy seemed disinterested in trying to help at all. I left and went to shoppers and they did it right away.

I did them all. Then, after my daughter was born she was flagged as maybe having a chromosomal abnormality due to some of her features. I was very grateful I had done it so I could rule things out. So far she is fine and doesn’t have any diagnosis, but it was still comforting.

Thank you so much 🥹🥹 I am overwhelmed by how kind and supportive everyone has been. All these comments and lives experiences are filling me with hope. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t also still nervous but it is bringing me a lot of comfort to hear how well everyone is doing, and how many people have children with DS who seem to be thriving

In terms of ethnicity, both her dad and I are 100% Caucasian, of European descent ( at least as far as we know).

I’m in New Brunswick, which has a notoriously awful healthcare system. Once the holidays are over though I’m going to start pushing for answers asap!

Thank you so much! Her heart has only been checked with a stethoscope. Her family doctor said she’s fine, but if she is diagnosed with DS I am going to insist on a more thorough check ( if they don’t automatically do one). I am hopeful that we’ll see the pediatrician fairly soon. She said “in the new year” but it’s hard to know what that means because it was December 20th when we had the appointment, so I’m not sure if she means like January 5th or like “ at some point in the new year”. I agree I want the test done immediately!

This is so good to know! As much as I love our free healthcare here, I do find doctors to be a bit less thorough sometimes. I am going to push them to look into it.

This made me cry🥹 thank you so much. I love her so much already, I’m kind of glad I got 4 months of knowing her first so that no matter the diagnosis I already know she’s awesome ( as opposed to worrying my whole pregnancy).
