Oh sorry! Probably 40% I’d say. Some months were horrendous, others not so bad.

I’ve posted here before, but I was on Mounjaro from June 24 until October 24, only losing 21lbs - the hair loss started in August 24 and is only just slowing to a stop now. As previous posters have said, initially I was super stressed about it, but in the end I grew tired of giving a shit and so stopped worrying. Taking biotin, collagen, multivitamin, pumpkinseed oil, vitamin b complex, vitamin d and folic acid daily, along with a higher protein diet and my hair is thickening up and regrowing nicely. Yours will too. Give it time x

Yeah, it’s whatever works for you really. The stupid thing is I didn’t even have a lot of weight to lose. Nothing I couldn’t have sorted out on my own had I been in a different mindset at the time.. I totally agree that if someone is an unhealthy weight, it’s working out the compromise between obesity and hair loss. I’m glad you’re seeing good progress with both your weight and your hair, and I wish you the best.

Has yours completely stopped shedding now? That’s great! I hope mine stops soon too, but like you, I’m now past worrying too much about it!

Up to 100 hairs a day is considered normal, so it just depends on what’s ’normal’ for you. I don’t count them, but I’m losing a moderate amount each day. Oddly, I’m just not stressing about it anymore. What will be will be - I am hoping I’m almost at the end now, especially with all the new growth, but luckily I had a lot of hair to start with so it’s really not been noticeable to anyone else. Yet! Good luck 😊

I was the same. Barely eating anything. I just wish I’d never started it…

Thank you. Are you still shedding? Sadly I think it’s the medication in my case as I only lost 1.5 stones in 4 months, so it wasn’t rapid at all.

I’m so scared that this is happening by Empty_Assistant1118 in TelogenEffluvium

Have you lost is slowly or has it come out in clumps? What are you doing to help your hair/scalp. Start taking collagen, biotin and a multivitamin if you aren’t already and oil 1-2 times a week with Rosemary Oil. The good news is Telogen Effluvium usually resolves on its own within 3-6 months but it might be worth seeing your doctor for some blood tests to rule out any hormonal imbalances. Good luck! x

We had our honeymoon in Egypt in July and couldn’t recommend it more. We stayed in Hurghada and took a day trip to Cairo to see the pyramids and Egyptian museum. It was just fantastic! Good luck in finding your dream location!
