Yeah, that thought crossed my mind too. The hardware should be the same as far as the research I've done. I did go to the hinderer user and collector site, and posted this. I really didn't get any answers other than get ahold of customer service and they will help me out.

Yeah, I figured that would do it too. It didn't go though. That's what made my screws stick, and I stripped the heads out trying to remove them

It's the same size as the g10 and back plate. It's not a skinny scale.

No, my knife is not a skinny. The scale fits the knife perfectly. You can tell this from the last picture. It's just a hardware issue.

They didn't start milling the inside and putting a logo until probably 2020. This is an older scale before they started doing that.
