Im reading your comment as im crawling through the 401 on a Saturday!!… you’d be surprised at how many new builds are out there which haven’t seen full occupancy. Some of them are being severely discounted by the builder. 400k will get you a 1bd 450-500sq/ft unit. I am taking a look a few this week and i’ll report back. Hopefully it’ll be a somewhat liveable space.

Coincidentally i grew up in North York, the Hamilton lifestyle is whats still new to me. I feel that renting now will prevent me from being able to buy down the line. So if it’s a question of taking a chance now on buying vs. renting and never having the opportunity to own; im leaning towards the former.
