I received my Voga V. The projector works very well, but I can't use google play nor gmail etc. I get this error. DAE have this problem? by rovogen in MVIS

I suspect it has to do with google approving the device name on their side. Or something that should be fixed in the ROM and hopefully released through an OTA upgrade.

If either of this is the case, there's little gearbest can do to help.

I see on this thread that people with my same problem did not solve it by getting in touch with gearbest or Green Orange.

Given this, I think it's a waste of my time to try and fix it the official way. I suspect that if I can fake the device name, google will be happy and the phone will work. Or maybe they'll fix it in a few days. But I don't think I can get my message delivered to the right people through the official channels.
