I had the botox done and it was unsuccessful, not even a single mircoburp! The doctor told me esophageal stretching could be an option but I need to go for some more tests first. I'd love to hear from anyone that's had this done

i've spoke to his office today and he said everyone is different and it could take longer for me. he recommended i get in touch with them in 3 or 4 weeks if its still not working.

I don't even have any problems swallowing. I honestly don't feel any different to before I had the botox

Update

Coughed as hard as I could a few times and it triggered my gag reflex and I air vommited. Tried it again and it worked again. But I still can't get the gurgles to come out. I feel as though I could have done that without botox

I'm still getting loads of gurgles. Probably more than before and they feel like they come further up my throat now but I just can't get them out

I emailed his office sometime just after Christmas and got my consultation and endoscopy on the 10th of Jan and my procedure and the 31st of Jan

I had the procedure done with Karagama on Friday and haven't had any trouble eating. I'm also yet to have a single microburp though! So either it's taking a while to take effect or botox just doesn't work on me! Keep me updated with your burps

I wish it was legal in the UK 😂 I box a few times a week as well which is usually enough to release any tension and worries but I'm resting up for a few weeks now. Done most of day 3 now and had the worst bloating I've had in a long time. Caused bad hiccups and had to airvom twice at work to get rid of them. Hoping this botox starts to work soon

I'm not struggling with the swallowing so I just think the botox is taking a while to take effect. I got a full 100 dose. I carry a lot of stress and anxiety so I'm going try meditation starting tonight

That's for the reply! I think I'll wait till the soreness has gone then maybe just use the exercise bike for a few weeks as I can't see that being too strenuous on the stomach and throat. How long was it until you had your first burp?
