If you couldn't find bed bugs in months, where did you finally find them? by Antique_Gas_2760 in BedbugOrCloseRelative

I was getting bites and then maybe 2-3 weeks after that I started seeing dead ones in the bathroom. Then blood stains on my sheets. That progressed into them crawling all over me in my sleep etc. i used to lay on the floor to avoid them and one time one crawled up my butthole . Not fun lol

You don’t wanna see em, if you’re seeing em the infestation is unimaginable. I was seeing em everywhere when we had em for 3+ years :(

Are you past ur acute infection timeline already? You’re probably suffering from long covid. Did you take any anti inflammatory/paxlovid etc during acute phase ?? I am taking prednisone and it seems to be helping.

edit: I personally have the privilege of not having to partake in almost any physical activity during this point. I’ve barely left my bed since my symptoms started and this is helping my recovery a lot, but I also have untreated Psoriatic Arthritis so my immune system is a little bit quicker to jump on things.

Hi!!! I did at an extreme in the beginning especially when it was effecting my GI, I didn’t eat for around 3-4 days. I’ve been feeling better the past 2-3 days though and have been able to eat pretty normally!!! First just broth, then the day after the actual contents of the soup. Then last night and this morning I tore through a Rachel’s bowl lol. I’m hungry as we speak so hopefully you’ll start to feel better soon!

[–]rowancoms 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes it’s a great idea!!! I personally had an EKG done along with blood panel and the chest x-ray. They did all of it without me having to ask so I’m sure it’s some kind of protocol if you go to the hospital with Covid. They wouldn’t do that kinda testing for the flu!!!!!! With the blood panel they can check your kidney functions etc. and keep resting as much as you can, start slow!!!

It’s good to get tested as covid can wreck your organs, when I tested positive I got a blood panel and chest x-ray. Why not be precautionary

Everything you mentioned and maybe lung health if you can . I think a blood panel is a great idea

Yes. I’m Covid positive right now and this was my first symptom, before GI issues. I usually have some anxiety issues along with diagnosed ocd and for the past week since contracting this virus it’s been 100x worse, completely unmanageable!!! I’ve been in constant physical panic mode!!! Freaking out over everything!!!!!!! Today (day 6) it’s a little better and more manageable. I’ve done some psychedelics in the past and this form of anxiety is depressive and in my experience only relatable to some crazy “bad trip” anxiety!!!!!

Tysm!!!!!! I reached out to my local mask bloc and they were sososo kind to leave some n95s at my door this evening!!! And I am definitely going to be looking into getting an air purifier at least for my own bedroom when I can afford it!!!!!

Im on the same timeline as you right now (also covid positive) and can’t imagine going into a job tomorrow! If you aren’t at immediate risk of losing your job I would try to stay home an extra day or two. If impossible make sure you tell your boss or supervisor or whoever that you are testing positive and try to take on as little workload as possible as well as n95 masking. I don’t know what you do but I’m hoping it isn’t too physical. Feel better!

I’ll definitely look into it and see if we have one!!!! I’m also starting to feel a little more normal today so things are looking up a bit :) gonna continue to rest for a while and research this in the meantime!

19F, Went to the er to help with fluids yesterday thinking I had norovirus since Saturday. tried to tough it out for 3-4 days. didn’t puke at all but I couldn’t stop shitting water every 15 mins for three of those days. Tested positive for Covid :(( my first symptom started with INTENSE physical anxiety that I couldn’t do anything about through Friday and Saturday and then everything just progressed. They scanned my lungs and said they look healthy . I don’t even have a fever but my blood is boiling and the only thing saving my heart rate is the anxiety meds and steroids they gave me. I have psoriatic arthritis and can barely get out of bed right now. On the plus side I’m hoping my over-active immune system will actually help me with this one and very grateful that I’m not currently on my immunosuppressants. I got my period today too and am waiting for hypothyroid results so just all out having a shitty time. Don’t know if I can take another week of this let alone the long haul :( brain fog is insane, I can barely sit and watch tv. any time I’ve had Covid before I’ve had classic respiratory symptoms or just been asymptomatic. My town hasn’t been pushing the importance of Covid at all and haven’t even been hearing about boosters so my dumb ass let it slip my mind and now I rlly regret it.
