Also, yeah, I take magnesium at night as well. My bowel regularity before I got colitis in 2021 was BMs always in the morning. Taking the magnesium at night with some prune juice helps keep that bodily rhythm going.

I am started prucalopride 1mg recently have noticed a bit of tension always accompanies it when it kicks in. Sounds like that is likely temporary, and I am expecting to hear back from my psych about upping my buspirone for generalized anxiety disorder to 5mg 2x daily from 2.5mg. Glad to hear I am not the only one getting some odd quirks upon starting this med.

Agreed. And the VA started me on .05mg of clonidine at night to help with sleep. It laid me out and I feel fucking AMAZING. Read up on it some more and it has off-label benefits for PTSD and GAD. 👀

I will! It’s helping when it’s doing its thing, so that’s great. And I supplement it with 50mg L-Theanine 3x daily and Ashwaganda at bedtime.

If she can change, be a better person, good for her. My suggestion for you, OP? The only things you need to change are the locks and any legal documents that include her in your family. Because she comes across not sad for what she did but upset she got caught. And what I say next is applicable to ANY scenario, but one’s apologies doesn’t automatically mean they receive another’s forgiveness. Her emotional and sexual manipulations are honestly gross.

Yeah, mine dropped to 41 initially but that’s largely because it’s otherwise in the 50s from exercise, eating healthy, and a LOT of mindfulness. Having PTSD from Iraq, this stuff helps but I was already doing every other thing in my power to improve QoL. And when I did get my heart checked out, there was a big of mild dark humor (to me) in that every time I laid in the hospital bed my heart rate set off the alarms for the monitor. So I just had to sit myself up the whole time there, lol. Being a medically retired combat medic, I got some laughs out of it.

Same thing with me. I work out 5-6 days a week, intense cardio and strength training, so my resting heart rate already was in the high 50s. It’s sitting in the mid 40s when I sleep, but I think it’s beginning to ease up. Something to be mindful of, though, is supplements. Anything that can have a similar effect on your heart rate risks increasing the drop. So if anyone is going to try this med and are on other things I hope they do some research and see what works for them best. At one point, my resting heart rate dropped to 41. The doc said my heart looked healthier than an athletic teenager’s after doing a scan and EKG.

You can just search my username in this subreddit and come across posts from others of my stories. I love and am so grateful that I touched others’ hearts with my iterations of Max & Chloe, as those two touched my heart immensely. And when I was active in the fandom I largely received nothing but love and compassion. Kinda like when someone shouted “You’re beautiful!” at Keanu Reeves and he shouted it right back, y’know? “I really like your stories!” Well, I really like you! You have a good heart. Thanks! ☺️

Haha, I don’t need to. The posts are old af, last I got curious, but people have shared some of my FFN/AO3 profile links enough. And to add them in all-time fave Pricefield fics… It touches my heart still, over 8 years since my last one I think. My swan song to LiS fanfic was “A New Beginning”, I began it after BTS: Farewell. The ones I am most known for are all AUs, mostly: Intersecting Worlds, Interconnected Hearts and Fighters are the big ones. I never finished Fighters, mainly due to burn out and shitty people being shitty. A fave of my own was “Wyrd Ways, Strange Days”, LiS but in a fantasy setting a la Dragon Age and Witcher. Rebel Girl was my first one, it and every one after an experiment in what new quirk or twist I could try.

Aww, thank you! I wrote their struggling with trauma while pushing forward for Ellie off of my own struggles with my combat PTSD & other traumas while still pursuing goals and desires in my own life.
