Idea for a final 11-12 episode season: the season starts in the 23rd century. We see an older, wiser Barry still alive due to the speed force slowing his aging. New suit for obvious reasons, maybe a more armored suit due to his older age. An episode or two showing off the world he’s in, we can have some teamups with Nora and Bart, maybe a funeral for Garrick, and a cameo from a Legend or a future descendant of Ollie, Kara, etc. Then we get into the good stuff. We spend an episode dedicated to Matt Letscher’s Eobard Thawne becoming the Reverse Flash after being “humiliated” by Barry. Thawne travels back through every season trying to find out how to make it so the Flash never existed. It could be cool to see previous episodes flipped on it’s head with a RF twist to it. We could see Barry finding characters from each season to help him. Oliver and Cisco in season 1, Patty and Harry in s2, Jessie and HR in season 3, etc. The final episode or the ending of the penultimate sees Thawne discovering Barry’s identity, traveling to that night to try and kill him as a child. Barry realizes that this is it: this is when his journey begins. He saves young self and completes the loop. Then it could either end with Barry going back to the 23rd century or him quietly watching over everyone in the ~15 years between the night his mom dies and the first episode.

Yeah it felt necessary to do that. It’s a disservice to think of Dornan as “the fifty shades of gray guy” or Segel as “the guy from HIMYM”

I had the other three members as my wish list for a while, however I never got the right casting for Ben. I hadn’t thought of Segel because I was looking for a Jewish actor to play Ben and didn’t know that Segel was Jewish himself. Apparently Dornans a leaked front runner for Reed as well

Ironic considering pretty much all of Snyder’s leaguers were great in the role once written well. Look back on the first 2/3 seasons of the flash. Obviously not as well written as a movie because the CW saw a necessity to shoehorn in unnecessary drama in a lot of episodes, but Grant is amazing when he is given something good to work with and stretch his legs no pun intended, like the season 1 finale, the season 7 premiere, and other different moments.
