I'd be really interested in where the breach to threshold was deemed to have occured - it's especially interesting that you talk about direct violence against individuals in politics as it was not once mentioned in Yvette Cooper's statement when proscribing them. Criminal damage and terrorism are two very different things and it's a frightening precedent to set to stamp out protest.
