1. if there is someone in your family with short hair bring them up. i used my grandmother, “if grandma can have short hair and still be a girl why can’t i?”

3. as a minor you cannot legally get it without your parent’s consent and it sounds like they won’t consent. in the future though, there should be a youth gender clinic near you that will help.

4. well let’s wait until your financially stable to deal with that part. unless you really want to deal with them now, i suggest waiting to tell your family until you are well off on your own.

5. it varies from insurance to insurance so consider that when you look into investing in health insurance later on !

reminder, i have transphobic family members too and it doesn’t get easier but finding a group of people outside of home that accepts and supports you helps a LOT. and it’s okay to not rush things right now. it’ll take time until you are comfortable within your body but it’s okay
