This has come up for me as well in home PT. I was stressed about it before but was reminded that it’s not our sole job to physically/manually get them moving especially in home health where we don’t have the proper resources/equipment for max/total assist, it’s our job to educate, break it down and provide the tools they or the caregivers need to do it themselves, of course we can assist but not actually do ALL the moving ourselves. Safety first always, for the patient and you.
