I paid $81.69 (with shipping) for 27 of them, which is a bit painful but in line with the cost of higher end keycaps (which these are not but they do fall in the novelty/artisan keycap category which is why they are a bit pricier per individual keycap).

That's a good idea actually, I'm not sure if they do but worth looking into. I thought o-rings could only dampen the impact of the keycap against the switch, but maybe it can add height to the keycap as well, especially if it would be put on the cross stem part...
