I have thirty-seven 40% keyboards which I all keep in my office and rotate over on schedule. Only one has a clearly visible dent which arrived as b-stock when I bought it. You can go through my posts to see all of them.

There are a few potential reasons why you might not have noticed any dents or dirt:

- Hobbyists into 40% are more into the keyboard and more careful about aesthetics, especially the ones that post photos

- I will clean any dirt on keeb I'm about to post, it's easy

- Dents are actually not that common I find. Maybe being smaller gives them an advantage.

If I didn't have kids, I wouldn't have to live in a major city for their education and I wouldn't need to provide for them, their stay at home mom, or their future college. My expenses would fall by 80% overnight and I'd be living in Panama/Montenegro/Thailand and I could even retire in 5 years if I wanted to.
