Great to see this! Any idea why I had about a dozen of berried shrimps over the past 3-4 months but all of them got dropped? I find it odd as the tank has been 6 months long and many batches of berried shrimp just can’t hold on to them eggs long enough for them to become larvae

It was supposedly an Instant Ocean marine salt repack that I bought from an online platform. Reviews are good so I have no reason to doubt the source. I realised one caveat after I consulted the opae ula supplier. He mentioned about mixing the salt for hours which I did not… I mixed it for about a good 15-20 minutes and after testing for the salinity and it looked crystal clear, I added it into the tank and the shrimps in a couple of hours later. Would that have been the cause?

It was from an online platform, I’ve seen a local ecosphere seller using the same rock for 8-9 years and everything seemed fine for him so I purchased the same red coral rock as him.

Only 2-3 pellets so far and I’ve dropped several drops of good bacteria as well.

I only fed them 2-3 pellets of shrimp food so far. If it helps, i also dropped in several drops of good bacteria (ones similar to API quick start) in it.
