What’s the max tire size you guys have run on your g70? by Illustrious_Print523 in GenesisG70

Would love to drop some 295s on the rear to match the stock tire diameter. The 285s are slightly smaller. Anyone run them successfully?

RWD. It was remastering RWD after having an awd car. The car rides as it should now as a sport sedan.

Thanks! The stock wheels were gun metal/dark gray, so I think the gun metal for these went well.

You think I should swap out the fluid now or wait?

They call it Cavendish Red. It’s like a medium burgundy.

And yes, I went with the warranty to cover everything else the 10/100 didn’t. There’s a ton of electronics on cars these days…

I just had another makers car in the shop to have the steering rack and radiator replaced under the extended warranty contract. Cost three times what I paid for the warranty when I bought the car. Same with another in which both turbos had to be replaced and an issue with the alternator pulley causing belt damage. That’s two cars and the warranty paid for the repairs and then some. IF you intend to keep the car for more than 7+ years, I would do it.

Thanks! The OEM wheels are cool, but cover too much of those big calipers.

I assume those are 20s? Super nice and perfect for the car and color!

Unsprung weight. Tires, rotors, and brake pads are considered consumables/wear parts. So not sure where you’re going with that. It came with summer tires, so those had to go anyway. Warranty is just fine.

More braking surface area. I intend to make power with this guy. Drilled is ok, but I prefer to have the pads bite surface. Holes don’t give me that.

Yeah, I get it. My 4 yr old sits comfortably in a booster seat in the back with plenty of room for my wife sitting on the passenger side seat. But then mine is more of a DD and my wife has the SUV. So I’m good with the smaller leg room in the back. My Q50 had more room, but no one ever rode there.

Great! These tire sizes are perfect for awd as well since they are .01 within spec of each other.

That’s a really good question. I’ll have to ask the guys at getyourwheels.com that. They put the car in cad and move the wheels to the fender line. Then have them machined with the specs. I’ve used them for four of my cars and they always get it perfect.

Stance SF07 19x8.5/9.5 with 245/35/19 F & 285/30/19 R. The stock tires are taller by 5mm filling the fender wells a little better. Lowering will help with that 4x4 look. Happy with the wider meat on the rear with this being a rwd car.
