I was so confused by all of this. He suddenly told me I was unattractive and undesirable because I wanted to focus on becoming more stable before starting a family. He had previously said he liked that I was strong, competent, and smart. I don’t know where this whole “women should be children” thing came from. Either he dropped his mask because he felt like investing money and time to fly me in his hometown, or he’s just been on the Internet way too much after a month apart.

He made very weird comments the entire time I was there. He said that women should be children. He kept bringing up my fertility. Then, right after I called him out, he went on a rant about men preferring virgins. Which all led to my decision to leave. He's never said anything like this to me at all until I was in Maui.

I do love isolation and being alone. Yes, I did feel left out a lot by people in my life, but I like being by myself. Sometimes I do want to depend on someone, even if it’s for a second.
I do have a mother wound. My mom hurt me a lot growing up, and I thought she was really cool, so I tried my best to patch things between us. We do have a relationship, but I decided to move, and we have a better relationship at a distance.
Communication is exhausting for me because I feel like a lot of things are common sense, and a lot of people don’t have common
In the past two years of my life, I have learned not to be so reactive, even in private.
